Adventures in Public Transportation: Reading Tea

I’m surrounded by people reading on the train – a Nook, two Kindles, a laptop, a smartphone, and [gasp] an actual newspaper. But strangely, the newspaper guy has a pencil-thin mustache, slicked-back hair, and is wearing dark, lambskin leather gloves, like a villain in a black & white movie.

I fully expect him to calmly fold his paper, then say to his disgruntled mistress, “No, my dear. You shan’t be telling anyone,” as he strangles her before finishing his tea.
